The Hunting Rifle is the third ranged unlock. The tradeoff for this capability is low ammo reserves and a weak damage output. It is a precision weapon, having the second highest effective range of any firearm in the game. It fires a rough, broad spray of pellets, each dealing less and less damage as the distance between them and their target increases. It can be thought of as a direct upgrade to the Sledge - trading indefinite uses for vastly increased damage, along with the ability to destroy a majority of materials found in-game. The Shotgun is the first ranged weapon unlock. Cables are useful for transporting heavy objects or suspending things in the air. Planks can be used to build several different structures(be it supports, bridges or other things) and attach items together.Ĭables, like the planks, are also an important tool, though their usefulness is limited to certain specific applications. They are one of the two only constructive items in the game(if you don't count nitro). It is quite efficient at its job, having its ammo measured in seconds rather than whole numbers, letting you spend less resources to cut something than other tools. It also serves a secondary purpose as a firestarter, being able to set flammable materials like wood and plastic alight. It is a precision cutting tool and works as the player's first way of directly destroying stronger materials such as metal. The Blowtorch is the first unlock within the Campaign. Unlike all of the other tools in it's category, it is not unlocked at the start of the Campaign, instead being awarded to the Player at the Crackerjack rank. It generates a gust of wind which can be used to push objects around, boost fires and remove snow. It is quite useful, as a fire alarm is present in many missions which can prematurely trigger the countdown if a fire grows too large. It functions as the only tool that can prevent the destruction of voxels by extinguishing fires. The Extinguisher is the last of the three starting tools. An important thing to note about the spray can: As the distance increases the spray can's spray of paint becomes less effective, covering a broader area but losing opacity. It functions as a painting tool, allowing players to mark their escape route. The Spray can is the second of the three starting tools. but cannot destroy stronger voxels such as brick, metal and concrete. It can break weak materials such as wood, plaster, glass and etc. It functions as the main destructive tool up until the Shotgun is introduced. The Sledge tool is the first of the three starting tools unlocked in the Campaign.
